ACTIVITIES IN PEMBROKESHIRE - Cycling

Pembrokeshire and Newport in particular offers cyclists of any age and ability an opportunity to explore the lanes and trails with their beautiful scenery in a relatively traffic free environment on the road or in totally traffic free areas such as around the nearby Llysyfran Reservoir.

As well as being able to enjoy a sedate ride around Newport, for those of you feeling a bit more energetic there are plenty of challenging rides up towards the Preseli Hills.

We have a lockable shed at the rear of the property where we can keep 2-4 cycles.

Newport has Bike Hire available at the Whole food Store where there is also plenty of advice and information available. Route maps etc can be obtained from the Tourist Information Centre in Long Street Newport.

There are Bike Shops and more extensive repair facilities at Cardigan (20 mins away) and at Mike’s Bikes Haverfordwest (about 30 mins away)
